Metka Games goes fully free... and ad-free

The three most popular games from Metka Games are now fully free and ad-free. Yep, that's right! I'm talking about Rhythm Sheep, Shape Fitter, and Color Match.

Do you mean the games are "free" but there are a lot of in-app purchases all around them?

- No. There isn't any in-app payments.

So surely there are intrusive ads popping up and possibly sharing my data with third parties?

- No. No ads. Not giving any info to third parties either.

This sounds almost too good to be true ...and I've learned that there's no free lunches. Where's the catch?

- The games didn't bring enough revenue to pay the bills. So, I rather publish the current versions as fully free than keep them behind the paywall and let them be totally forgotten in the ocean of Android games.

So, are they fully free forever?

- Don't know yet.

Where can I get these games you are talking about?

Rhythm Sheep updated with playback & jamming

The newest version of Rhythm Sheep has just seen the light of day (or, depending on the timezone, the darkness of the night). It was just recently when the previous update spread like moderately slow wildfire to the phones and tablets of the sheep tapping community ending the silence of the lambs for good. And now, only 11 and half months later, there is yet another update.

The latest version of Rhythm Sheep has two unseen features:
  1. Playback: Listen the correct rhythm followed by your own tapping and try to hear the difference.
  2. Jamming: Put the main menu on, enable the music, relax, and simply watch the clouds go by.

Rhythm Sheep has now a playback feature

Rhythm Sheep chosen as the favorite game of 2013!

Rhythm Sheep was the most liked game by Metka Games in 2013 based on the poll shown below. It got astonishing 50% of all the votes! The second most popular option "Haven't played them, but let me vote!" collected 25% of the votes. The bronze medal was shared between Shape Fitter and "I can't pick one, they're all awful!". The poll collected a respectful number of votes (8) during the 327 days it was open so the results can be considered fairly reliable.

Congratulations Rhythm Sheep!
